Extended Stay America Suites - San Francisco - San Mateo - Sfo, San Mateo

Staying at the hotel was a mixed experience. While the rooms were lovely and spacious, the noise from the busy freeway was a major drawback, making it difficult to rest properly. The service received was top-notch, with the staff being extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the local area. The location was convenient for my work assignment, but it was a bit challenging to find the hotel initially. The dining options were limited, although I appreciated the grill outside and the complimentary charcoal. The facilities were adequate but could be more extensive.

Upon check-in, I found myself in a room with what appeared to be a full-size bed instead of a king, making my stay less than ideal. Despite this setback, the room was warm and cozy. The service from the staff, even on a budget, was incredibly nice and cheerful, although one incident was shrugged off a bit too easily. The location was perfect for my work needs, being conveniently close to essential amenities like Costco and restaurants for a good night's sleep outside in the common area. The dining options, while limited, can be improved but the grill outside was a nice touch. Overall, a mixed experience with some ups and downs.
